HELP!

I posted this response previously.

There are various options to treat stretch marks.

1. Moisturizers and creams. Cocoa butter or anything containing vitamin E is good.

2. Alpha hydroxy acids to exfoliate the skin, soften the skin, and improved elasticity.

3. Tretinoin or Retin-A. This compound loosens the keratin in the outer skin layers and helps to exfoliate dead skin cells.

4. Surgery to remove the affected skin. A tummy tuck is one example when surgery removes stretch marks.

For cellulite, I have had some experience with the Velasmooth system. It worked quite well for me, although multiple treatments are required.

“I bought some from Walmart ages ago when it was on sale. I only use the lotion in the blue bottle, not the patches or pills. I can honestly say it really made a difference. I was doing a lot of cardio and I started seeing cellulite on the side of my thighs. I started using this right after the shower before bed and I can tell a difference! It is definitely worth it. I could tell and I only put it on once a day. Make sure you don’t put way to much on. My bottle lasted me 3 weeks. I went back and bought another because I love it!”

“You have to be faithful with putting it on every night. You can skip a day but if you only put it on once a week you won’t be able to tell a difference.

My fiance saw me putting it on and asked me why I used it, that I didn’t have any and I told him “well i guess it works!”
:
“I’ve used it, currently on my 2nd bottle”

Has anyone used a topical cellulite product that actually worked?

I’d love to know. I’ve always got just enough to make me feel uncomfortable. Its not extreme and I’m in pretty good shape. Anyone have a positive experience to share?

Answer:

That’s good that your in a good shape. I personally never had or have cellulite, but, I know ALOT of my friends that do. The different between me & them is that I’m very in shape & I take care of my body. I exercise 3 times a week [ running, yoga ], I don’t really eat meat, I consume organic products, ALOT of water, whole grains, everything is pretty much non fat or low fat. If you want to loose the cellulite naturally, just exercise more & go on a diet!

Can green tea give people cellulite like coffee does?

I have read that coffee can cause people to get cellulite because of the caffeine… but since green tea also contains caffeine, does that mean green tea also gives you cellulite?… I was to start drinking green tea instead of normal tea or coffee, but I don’t want cellulite! lol
That’s the most rubbish and ill-informed answer I’ve had this week. Thanks mate…

Answer:

Since cellulite is fat & coffee doesn’t have any, the only way coffee & cellulite are related is through the donuts someone eats while drinking it.

Besides, if caffeine causes cellulite, why do all the creams that say they fight it tell you it’s the caffeine that helps reduce it?

Why can’t you get rid of cellulite even when you exercise?

I know there are miracle drugs out there to rid yourself of this fatty condition. And I’ve seen slim people with cellulite. Why can’t you get rid of it? What causes it? Thank you so much.

Answer:

It doesn’t matter how thick or thin you are, most women are prone to deposits of cellulite. These are gender specific (that’s right for women only!) deposits of dense fat that are caught in the network of fibers that make up the structure of the body.

To understand this you have to picture your body as being enclosed in a large network of tissue that looks like a fish net of interconnecting tissue. How much this tissue can expand is non negotiable. Since the connective tissue is not as elastic as the skin,it will only stretch so far while being acted on by the force of expanding fat cells. When fat deposits become trapped beneath this network, called the superficial fascia, the net is stretched and its fatty contents bulge out in an unattractive way that is often described as looking like cottage cheese, orange peel or gravel.

Why don’t these stubborn deposits of fat just melt away like regular fat? The law of Mother Nature in this case is that the greater the area of fat concentration the harder it is to get rid of. The minute your total body fat exceeds 25% in a woman, you will develop cellulite.

Sometimes you can get rid of the fat but not the gnarly connective tissue that was created to accommodate the extra fat cells in the first place. Areas of the body that have a high ratio of fat to muscle (for example the thighs, hips and buttock area in women) are particularly hard to smooth out once they have become pocked with cellulite.

Getting rid of cellulite is not as easy as exercising and limiting your caloric intake. As many women know you can get extremely thin, almost skeletal and still have lumps of cellulite showing In fact, if you lose too much weight the cellulite bumps and dents can be even further highlighted.

Usually getting rid of cellulite requires a complete lifestyle overhaul. This usually starts with some kind of detoxifying or cleansing diet and then a permanent modification of your exercise and eating habits. Circuit training that involves an hour of aerobic exercise and weight training is thought to be the best cure for this common problem. Drinking tons of water and eating fruits and vegetables that are water dense may also help get rid of these stubborn deposits of fat.

How to lose little bit of belly/cellulite?

I weight 127 but i still have a belly that doesnt seem to go away, and i have cellulite on my stomach and all over my body, i was wondering how i can get rid of this!?

Thanks everybody !

Answer:

The best way to lose weight in your belly area and everywhere else is to simply control your appetite and the best way to do that that I know of is with hoodia. When I was dieting (and believe me I still watch my weight even though I have achieved my weight loss goals for the most part) I realized right off that the most important thing is to control your appetite. If your stomach’s not always growling and your not always craving food it is sooo much easier to stick to your guns and stay on your diet. With hoodia I would literally go a whole day sometimes and simply forget to eat and I didn’t get tired and run down like diets can sometimes make you feel. Once my appetite was under control and I wasn’t always thinking about eating then and only then could the weight start coming off consistently and steadily because the hoodia kept my mind off of food and I would go longer on my diet and as I did that naturally I lost weight. You have to remember that consistency is very important when losing weight. If you cut back a little on your food consumption everyday your body will change (stomach will shrink and you won’t be eating as much) and with that consistency over a few days, weeks and months you will lose weight just like I did. Hoodia was my saving grace for all of these factors. Hope this helps!!! GOOGLE: online health mart hoodia :and read more info there and even get some if you want. This stuff is really awesome and worked wonders for me!!!

Will working out on an eliptical help me get rid of cellulite?

I’ll be doing it 30 minutes a day 3 times a week. Will this help me? Is there something else I can do to help get rid of my cellulite? Thanks for your help :)

How do you get cellulite and how do you get rid of it?

I am 15, 110 pounds, and I exercise all the time! But I see a little bit of cellulite on my upper thighs!!! How did I get that? How can I get rid of it??

Answer:

Cellulite is usually genetic and hormonal, caused by dimpled fat. Some skinny people have it while other fatter people might not. There are probably creams out there that make it go away but they probably don’t work. Don’t sweat it! A lot of people have it.
